Peach and Cherry Glazed Ham Roast

Ingredients: 1 fully cooked ham (5 to 9 pounds) 2 cans (8 ounces each) pineapple, drained and sliced 1 small jar Maraschino cherries, stems removed 1/2 cup or more whole cloves
Glaze: 1-1/2 cups peach nectar (or 1 jar (10 ounces) peach preserves 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons cider vinegar 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves dash of cinnamon |
Preparation: Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Score top of ham in a diamond pattern, stud points of ham with whole cloves; secure pineapple slices and cherries on ham with toothpicks.
Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, peach nectar, vinegar, ground cloves and cinnamon. Pour half of the glaze over ham. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2-1/2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with drippings. Uncover, bake an additional 30 minutes, or until ham is completely done.
