Strawberries and Cream Egg Nog
What would the holidays be without egg nog? A little ginger ale and strawberry ice cream and you have a drink that will spice up any party. |

Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup cream 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 6 large eggs, well beaten 3 quarts orange juice, chilled 1 quart ginger ale, chilled 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced 1 quart strawberry ice cream 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, beat sugar, cream and spices into eggs. Stir in chilled orange juice. Slowly pour ginger ale down the side of a large punch bowl. Gently stir in the egg mixture and strawberries. Drop scoops of ice cream into the egg nog and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Yield: 20 servings. |
