Basic Plot

Amidst the same chaotic frenzy created from being late for their latest holiday flight, Kevin McCallister is separated from his family again.  But this time, he's not "home alone"...he's in New York City with enough cash and credit cards to live like royalty.  After being released from jail, Harry and Marv, aka. the Wet Bandits, have also landed in N.Y.C.  They continue to plot their next big job as they wander the streets and encounter their old nemesis...Kevin.  With the sting of their last battle still fresh in their memories, they pursue him through the streets of New York intent on payback.  Kevin evades them and retreats to his uncle's semi-renovated, vacant brownstone to hatch a plan of self defense.  Once again, the bumbling duo must fumble their way through a maze of ingenious booby traps and pitfalls.

Review

Well, it happened again!  When Mrs. McCallister asks "What kind of mother am I?", we think we all have an answer for that one.  It's not common for a sequel to be equal to or better than the original release, but "Home Alone 2" is one of those rare exceptions.  The characters are outrageously funny.  The house of pain Kevin McCallister creates for Harry and Marv is hilarious thanks to the expanded use of Daniel Stern and his inimitable reactions.  We dare you to watch this movie and not chuckle!
